Kids welcome! Prego is a family friendly restaurant offering a kids menu and fun activity sheets to keep them entertained (so mum and dad can relax with a glass of wine!). Best times from 4:30 - 6:30pm.

Background

Situated in the heart of Ponsonby Rd, Prego Restaurant has appeased Auckland tastebuds since 1986. Prego's unpretentious approach to Italian cuisine has established Prego as an enduring, highly regarded and much loved 'local'. An extensive menu features traditional Italian fare, with the regularly revised specials menu gratifying the tastes of those interested in a more modern skew.

Prego is an idiomatic expression of polite acknowledgement, to say to someone who thanks you, don't mention it... to say when you let someone go past you:... when you give up your seat to someone:... when handing someone something: ... in short, when doing someone a service with a smile.
